Ep 225 - What five years of podcasting has taught me about life

Hey everyone, welcome to this episode of the Motherkind podcast, the show that's going to help you navigate the massive challenges of life as a modern mother with more community, confidence, clarity and self-awareness.

The 17th of November 2022, marks the five-year anniversary of the podcast.

To celebrate, this is a different and very special episode where I share what I have learned about life from five years of podcasting. It isn’t really about podcasting, it is about passion and creating something through motherhood. It’s about starting something that you want to see in the world.

It is also about you. At the end of this episode, I answer questions that our community sent in.

Five things I have learned:

  1. The power of showing up and consistency

  2. The power of putting one foot in front of the other

  3. Create what you wish was in the world

  4. Play the long game

  5. Connection is the most important currency we have as humans

I really hope what I share will be inspiring, interesting and thought-provoking. Thank you so much to you for enabling me to do this podcast and for sharing how much the podcast has impacted you. Please be that person who is sharing this wisdom and knowledge with other mothers. I would greatly appreciate that.

And here is to the next five years. Imagine what we will have created when we get to 10.
